I pulled together a pretty assortment of aqua, brown and teal florals that have a soft palette and then they sat and waited for inspiration to strike. The top one is original Belle from Amy Butler,
it almost broke my heart to cut it!
I was browsing through Pam and Nicky Lintott's new book, Dessert Roll Quilts, and saw an absolutely gorgeous quilt that prompted me to start this quilt. This is all I can show you because it all I have sewn together so far, but there has been lots of pressing, cutting and marking diagonal lines.
I originally also had a medium brown polka dot in there, but decided against it and am now on the hunt for another fabric to add. Some of these were just fat quarters so my plan is to keep sewing squares until I run out of fabric!
